Additional illustration and animation for customer service software Schaman.

I was asked to create this animation for root-cause-based customer service software Schaman. The client wanted a clear explanation of what their software could do so, starting with a script I was in charge of developing the concepts into a visual story that supported and added to the words, using illustrations from their site and keeping any new designs in line with their current look and feel.

The main challenge I found was in translating complex technical concepts into easily recognisable visuals, for which there was a lot of discarded sketches before I presented the first storyboards. From there onwards the process became real fun developing the styleframes, the animatics to establish the right pace and rhythm and finally animating with plenty of details that made them flow and drive the attention.
